Our New Dachshund ornaments are handmade by knitting artisans in Lima and remote rural villages in Peru. The company who brings these super cute ornaments to us is woman owned out of Colorado. She works closely with organizations dedicated to empowering women through income generating projects. They enjoy a safe work environment and earn a living wage with a respect for their cultural traditions. Everything is created under Fair Trade guidelines. The income generated through their work allows the women to feed and clothe themselves and their children.
